So, does this make me a "cougar"?

How young is too young for someone who is 28?

22 is too young... right?

(No, he's NOT one of my students.)

A totally random colleague wants to set me up with his AA's son. (Weird, I know.)

Ah, what the heck, right?

I do think I'll feel somewhat creepy though...

My last two boyfriends have been 7 and 6 years younger than I am. It wasn't creepy at all.

Physiologically speaking, a 22-year-old man is 4 years past his sexual prime and you are still 7 years away from yours. It's a nice compromise ;-)

Don't you think it's strange that a man wouldn't have a second thought about dating a woman 6 years younger?

Hi Dani,
It wouldn't really bother me other than the fact that men who are 22 are usually (but not always) in a very different place in life than men who are 32.

And I have to be realistic about what I want... I'm 28. I'm not in a HUGE rush to marry/have kids, but I do know that over 35 women have much more difficulty. I'd like to be with someone who could see themselves settling down in the NEAR future.

After all, if I date Mr. Young for 6 years... he'll only be 28! I, however, will be 34....

He'll have plenty of time to find and date two or three or ten more women and still have time to have kids. I won't be in the same position.

However-- just to have fun? Why not.
